AIDE Application Developer (Subcontracted to Novetta Solutions)

LOCATION: Hurlburt Field, FL

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide development support for the ISR Tool-Kit (ITK) application within the AIDE software suite. The AIDE application developer will conduct the majority of AIDE application development from home while making routine visits to the work site. Areas of focus will include: in a Linux environment, employ agile software development processes to rapidly deploy updates, patches, bug fixes, and features for ITK in support of AFSOC SGIP; interact with users, tactics subject matter experts, and SGIP program managers to obtain feedback and software development requirements; validate new software requirements with SGIP program managers prior to ensure requirements are in line with SGIP strategic direction; design and maintain application architecture including database schema and application programming interface API design; and support integration of AIDE applications with other COTS and GOTS software suites/applications. Requires experience in AIDE (w/in 30 days of hire); SW/HW Troubleshooting; RMF; Documentation Control/Creation; Database Management (SQL); Scripting (Java, Go, Bash); Middleware (Elasticsearch, Pgpool).

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Required Experience: 5+ yrs. of exp.
AIDE (w/in 30 days of hire); SW/HW Troubleshooting; RMF; Documentation Control/Creation; Database Management (SQL); Scripting (Java, Go, Bash); Middleware (Elasticsearch, Pgpool)

 

Desired Experience: GD-MS MAAS (w/in 60 days of hire); FMV Principles; MS Windows Client; MS Office.

 

Education/Certifications:

4-yr degree relative to position (required); MS degree (desired); Linux & Red Hat Linux certs (desired); IAT Level II cert (required)

 

Clearance Level:

TS/SCI, (TS)
