Change Coordinator (Change & Configuration Management Lead)

Plan, coordinate, and participate in the IT Change Management (ChM) Process (Change Management). Coordinate documentation and implementation of Tenant Change Proposals (TCP) with the supported customer’s representatives (Change Management). Review and coordinate with the Government’s E&I Commands in response to requests for information (RFI) (Change Management). Perform the following ChM functions: Facilitate meetings; Obtain all necessary information and documentation to facilitate Requests for Change (RFC); Review, evaluate, prioritize, and prepare all RFC packages for evaluation; Maintain change log, history, and documentation for all RFCs; Maintain the change schedule; Validate RFC processing compliance with the ChM process; Provide daily support and assistance to the supported customer with regard to change status requirements, deadlines, and problems; Document lessons learned and recommend areas for improvement within the ChM process to the Government Change Management Program Manager and Deputy; Adhere to all communication, reporting, monitoring, and audit requirements from the ChM Program Manager and Deputy. Provide CM services to assist the Government with maintaining an accurate account of configuration items (CI) during the lifecycle of DoD and Army managed IT assets. Develop and maintain technical requirements, specifications, and design documents for DoD and Army managed systems within the CENTCOM AOR to support the creation and sustainment of a comprehensive and accurate configuration management database (CMDB). Create and maintain a CMDB that shall contain DISA-provided DODIN services network and system CM data to support resource allocation, capacity planning, networks/system modeling, and other planning activities. Ensure any reroute over 24 hours is captured in the CMDB, within 8 hours of the 24-hour mark. Analyze the technical impacts of software/hardware maintenance enhancements and/or modifications to system product Baselines. Document any technical impacts and/or changes to the Baseline and include the updates in the CMDB. Be responsible for the maintenance and tailoring of the CM processes, working methods, and tools.Provide CM support of all computer systems, networks, workstations, software development activity, performance tool development, distribution, and applications distribution. Research, analyze, and translate data into qualitative and quantitative technical requirements to allow for planning and project start-up, including site survey and analysis, identification of requirements, statement of existing systems/ equipment/ technologies, considerations and comparisons of solutions, recommendations, scheduling and implementation schedules, work breakdown structures, logistics support, and cost estimates. Support the investigation of solutions to problems in an assigned technology area. Review, analyze, evaluate, and confirm that systems/networks infrastructure requirements are appropriately addressed in all design documents. Prepare documentation and interface specifications based on system survey results and resident existing information.
