LOCATION: Fort Gordon, GA
Security Engineer III to lead Information Systems Security Officer FSO/SSO/ISSO duties. Manage personnel security, physical security, and operational security processes. Verifies clearances, supports investigations, and facilitates visitor access. Conducts in/out briefs. Provides security awareness and conducts security training. Provides expertise managing classified information, AIS and facilities, including accreditation. Experienced managing classified information, facilities, and obtaining and maintaining accreditation. Extensive Executive Order 13526, NISPOM, ICD series, DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, and other applicable security policies. Has knowledge of Special Access Programs (SAP) and Special Technical Operations (STO) security policies, processes and procedures. Edu/Exp: HS 16+ Years, BA/BA 10+ Years, or MA/MS 8+ Years. Experience verifying clearances and supporting the background investigation process. Experience conducting staff in-briefing and out-briefing. TS/SCI/CI Poly (MADO SIP Packet)
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of CSSO/CSSR/SSO/SSR knowledge and experience.
- Must have the training and knowledge in the use/operation of JPAS, DISS, and Scattered Castles.
- Highly desired for Security contractor to have attended a USG/dod recognized Special Security Officer training course(s); and the DSS Facility Security Officer (FSO) Course and/or Industrial Security (INDUSEC) course.
- Is highly desired for the Security contractor to have the knowledge and experience in various NSA security procedures relating to the MADO-SIP request processes, Virtual Access request (VAR) process, Visit Request (VR) process, NSA facility badging request process.

DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP) and CSSP Analyst (CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CySA+ GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, SCYBER)
