JOB DESCRIPTION:
Security Administrator (SA). Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and controlling all security functions for the entire suite of products composing the VPN solution within a single site. SA duties include, but are not limited to: Apply the latest security critical software patches and updates (such as IAVAs) to each product; Develop a plan of action and milestones (POA&M) to implement the security corrections throughout the AOR following all DoD and DISA instruction and requirements; Ensure testing of all corrections before deployment; Report security-related incidents in accordance with DoD, Army, and local policies; Coordinate and support product logistic support activities including integration and maintenance; Employ Government approved defenses of auxiliary network devices to enable proper and secure functionality of the VPN solution; Ensure that the implemented VPN solution complies with the VPN Capability Package; Provision and maintain End User Devices (EUD) in accordance with the VPN Capability Package; Certificate Authority Administrator (CAA). Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and controlling all security functions for the CA products for multiple sites; Administer the CA, including authentication of all components requesting certificates; Maintain and updating the Certificate Revocation List (CRL); Provision and maintain EUD certificates in accordance with the VPN Capability Package.

2 yrs. wireless/CSfC DoD
Education/Certifications:
Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) or greater; IAT III
Clearance Level:
TS – SCI eligible
