Execute communications infrastructure projects, including Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) support, TCF installation and disassembly, and site preparation or upgrade. Maintain proper licenses and certifications to perform these services as required by Base procedures and Host Nation laws. Ensure proper configuration on Technical Control Facilities (TCFs). Ensure all products and installations shall be in accordance with Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) Standards. Prepare and submit an initial Engineering Installation Package (EIP) for approval prior to commencement of work for each project and shall submit a final EIP at project completion. Provide support to facilitate the installation of various types of cables, shelters, generations, HVAC, Mobile Power Systems. Participate on TCF Shelter Removal Teams to support the disassembly of A, B, Power, and O&M shelters. Provide technical and engineering expertise in the translation of functional requirements and design criteria. Research, analyze, and translate data into qualitative and quantitative technical requirements to allow for planning and project start-up, including site survey and analysis, identification of requirements, statement of existing systems/equipment/technologies, considerations and comparisons of solutions, recommendations, scheduling and implementation schedules, work breakdown structures, logistics support, and cost estimates. Support the investigation of solutions to problems in an assigned technology area, e.g. wireless service for Army Network, Virtual Desktop deployment, Full Motion Video (FMV), and Service or Network criteria for transitioning to Cloud services.
