LOCATION: Shaw AFB, SC
Provide IO&M, monitoring, and administrative support to the classified and unclassified networks at USARCENT facilities on Shaw AFC/ Support daily maintenance and operations of all managed systems, RCC-SWA remote administrated servers, and local servers supporting personnel. Monitor, implement and report compliance with RCC-SWA and vendor-released security patches and software hotfixes on servers and workstations. Maintain SAN servers for SIPRN and NIPR, including day-to-day operation and maintenance of storage arrays, storage appliances, and associated fiber-channel switches and hardware. Maintain all associated networked systems hardware and software. Perform back-ups and archiving of command servers. Establish and conduct network and server monitoring program. Discuss any proposed or envisioned network changes with the COR. Perform maintenance on all network systems hardware and software. IO&M physical and virtual servers for emerging requirements. Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software and hardware. Review and evaluate potential security risks, take appropriate corrective action, and work with command to develop and implement access control lists. Provide installation, configuration, and management support to various hardware asssets; maintain assets in directed databases; and deploy IA patches in coordination with cyber security team. Provide Tier I and II Help Desk support. Provide O&M support for the Interactive Warning System Mass Notification System. Create baseline images for network-required workstations and create user accounts with each network. Provide on-call emergency maintenance support for large-scale network problems.
