LOCATION: Redstone Arsenal, AL
Oversee work of intermediate DBAs. Provide state-of-the-art DBA solutions and support for multiple application environments (application/solution, database, and storage). provide administration and management for local and remote databases for various operating environments (development, test, pre-production, training, and production). Perform database development, testing, reorganization, monitoring, maintenance, tuning, and query design. Create, update, and maintain local and remote database environments to effectively utilize existing and shared resources to ensure availability and integrity of databases across development, test, staging, preproduction, production, and training environments. Design, develop, document, test, and operate backup and recovery strategies, IAW the mission application/solution’s requirements. Perform database analysis, design, implementation, sustainment, and retirement activities in compliance with the Customer's existing software development standards. Develop and Operate backup/restore and recovery strategies. Contribute to RMF security accreditation as it relates to DBA.
Years of Experience: 10+
MA/MS degree; IAT Level I (1 FTE); IAT Level II (4 FTEs); .NET and SQL Server certifications (1 FTE); ORACLE OCA (4 FTEs)
