Provide systems administration and IT maintenance activities, as required, to support 24/7/365 operations. Administration and maintenance activities of SGIP and SIE systems includes: assign personnel to projects, directing their activities, and evaluating their work; install, maintain, configure, and ensure integrity of computer software; implement operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system; provide second-tier support to end-users for PC server, mainframe applications, and hardware; resolve problems that the first tier of help desk support is unable to resolve; interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem; simulate/recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties and/or errors; recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems; maintain currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise to be facilitated; assist with identification of equipment that needs to be acquired, equipment sustainment, and equipment distribution; and assist configuration manager with shipping and control, to include equipment pickup, packing, shipping and tracking. Requires experience in AIDE (w/in 30 days of hire); GD-MS MAAS (w/in 60 days); FMV Principles; SW/HW Troubleshooting; MS Windows Server and Windows Client; MS Office; MS Directory Services Administration; MS Group Policy; MS DNS; MS DHCP; MS Hyper-V; VMWare Vcenter/Vsphere; Network Infrastructure Cabling (Fiber/Copper); Disaster Recovery Procedures; CDS; Cisco VTC Administration; AV Systems Administration; Crestron Toolbox.
Required Experience: 6+ yrs. of exp.
