LOCATION: Kuwait, Jordan, Afghanistan



Provide SATCOM/MLOS operational engineering services to support the configuration, sustainment, operational management, and troubleshooting of SATCOM/MLOS systems. Provide SATCOM/MLOS operational engineering assistance to remote technicians with terminal types, baseband systems, and infrastructure, which includes but is not limited to: Data Centers; TCF; Joint Network Node (JNN); Command Post Node (CPN); SIPR NIPR Access Point (SNAP); SIPR Point of Presence (SPOP); Traffic Terminal (TT); Flyaway Tri-Band Satellite Terminal (FTSAT), AN/USC-60A Mobile Ku/Ka band Earth, Terminal(MKET) Fixed Ku/Ka band Earth Terminal (FKET), Deployed Ku/Ka band Earth Terminal (DKET),and Satellite Traffic Terminal (STT). Provide SATCOM operational engineering assistance to remote technicians involving communications terminal operations. Contractor personnel must have sufficient expertise in system hardware support for various SATCOM earth terminals (e.g., DKETs, FKETs and MKETs) to perform the following required technical functions: Satellite access and link acquisition; Signal optimization (e.g., peak and polarization); Terminal setup and maintenance; Provide high powered amplifier (HPA) and solid-state power amplifier (SSPA) maintenance, dish setup, loading boot files and troubleshooting Linkway modem operations, signal flow, and interconnecting cable issues; Monitor and coordinate SATCOM service requests, and issue resolution; Assist with satellite transitions directed by TNC-CENT; Provide assistance and advice involving CJOA satellite architecture to TNC-CENT in support of network transition and optimization; Provide technical oversight and direction to identify system faults for RNCC satellite links; Provide technical assistance and advice involving connectivity required to complete Circuit Actions to ensure TSOs are accurate.
